  • Why You Should Get a Plan

Replacing most heating and central A/C components cost $300-$700‡.

How a heating and cooling system failure can affect your home:

    • a bad condenser can cause the fan to blow but not cool
    • blower motor failure can mean the system won't supply enough heat
    • circuit board failure can cause the breaker to keep tripping
    • freon or coolant leak can prevent cool air from flowing into your home

As a homeowner, you are responsible for the heating and cooling systems inside your home, and you will have to arrange and pay for any necessary repairs. ‡National average repair costs as of January 2023. No charge for covered repairs up to your service call benefit amount.

A lot can go wrong with the heating and central air conditioner systems in your home. Drains can clog, motors can burn out, fuses can blow, and improper settings can mean your system runs too often, leading to higher energy costs and wear and tear. It may be your responsibility to keep your HVAC system functioning properly. Let a repair plan from HomeServe help protect you from the expense and bother of emergency home repairs.

Eligible homeowners can select the Heating and Cooling Plus, which provides an unlimited annual benefit for cooling system and heating system coverage with multiple service calls. This optional coverage can help protect you from the high costs of covered repairs.
