Not Eligible
- if your home is a recreational vehicle or otherwise intended to be moved; your property is used for commercial purposes; you know of any current problems with your system before enrollment; your system is shared with a 3rd party or covered by a homeowners' association or the like; has non-compliant components; exceeds 5 tons capacity; is installed on a roof, is an ammonia cooling, geothermal heat pump, ductless, window, through-the-wall, or hanging unit; or is not installed according to manufacturer specifications
Exclusions
- Any maintenance work not included in a System Tune-Up. Additional exclusions apply.
Benefit Details: One tune-up for a fully functioning central forced-air system fueled by electricity, for which you have sole responsibility. A tune-up includes the following: Check thermostat operation, system temperature split, voltage, and amperage to all motors. Inspect: Disconnect, fuses, wiring, contactors, relays, pressure controls, electrical safety circuits, indoor blower and motor for dirt build up, bearings, condensate drain, outdoor coil, duct seal at unit, and secure panels. Clean (if necessary): Condensate line, outdoor coil, air filter. Replace: Air filter (customer supplied). Lubricate: Fan and motor units. Run and test system. Technicians must have safe access to the work area. Disputes resolved by arbitration, without class action or jury trial, unless otherwise stated in your full Terms and Conditions.

Making a Service Call: You are entitled to one annual cooling system tune-up, which must be scheduled by you. You can schedule your annual tune-up immediately after your plan starts.
Cancellation: Cancel any time by calling HomeServe.
Renewal: The plan is annual. Unless you cancel, your plan automatically renews annually at the then-current renewal price with your same payment terms.
