Interior Plumbing: Appliances, fittings and fixtures; frozen pipes; fire suppression and other sprinkler systems, irrigation systems, distribution piping such as for radiators and heating systems, condensate drain lines for cooling systems. Additional exclusions apply.

Eligibility: This description of coverage, exclusions and conditions is not the actual contract; the actual contract will be sent to you within approximately 10 business days after we receive your Form. An owner of both a residential single structure permanently secured to the ground and the land it is located on may be eligible for coverage. You are not eligible if your property is used for commercial purposes; you know of any current problems with your system(s) before enrollment; or your entire system(s) is shared with a 3rd party or covered by a homeowners’ association or the like. In IA, properties with more than 4 dwelling units are not eligible. Exterior Sewer/Septic Line: Residences that have had any roots removed from the exterior sewer/septic line or failed a smoke or dye test, camera inspection or any other proactive test without resolution prior to enrollment are not eligible for this portion of coverage.
Benefit Details: Coverage provides, up to the applicable benefit limit, to repair or replace system(s), that have experienced an operational failure, for which you have sole responsibility, that are damaged due to normal wear and tear, not accident or negligence. Exterior Water Service Line: The line from your utility’s responsibility or external wall of your well casing to the external wall of your home. Repair or replacement of non-functioning stop boxes, shut-off valves, pressure reducing valves and backflow prevention devices is also covered. Exterior Sewer/Septic Line: The sewer line from the external wall of your home up to your property boundary, or septic line from the external wall of your home up to the point of connection to the septic tank on your property, including branch drains from the point they exit the home to the point they re-enter the home. Repair or replacement of non-functioning grinder pumps or backflow prevention devices is also included. Interior Plumbing: The plumbing lines that carry fresh water throughout the inside of your home.

Making a Service Call: Your plan starts 30 days after your Form is processed. You can make a service call immediately after your plan starts. During the initial 30-day review period you will receive the Terms and Conditions to help you decide if coverage is right for you. Upon renewal/reactivation (if applicable), there is no review period and you can make a service call immediately.
Cancellation: Cancel any time by calling HomeServe or visiting www.homeserve.com. You will not be charged during the review period (if applicable). If you cancel within 30 days of your start date, you will get a full refund (less claims paid, where applicable). Cancellations after the first 30 days will result in a pro-rata refund (less claims paid, where applicable).
Renewal: The plan is annual. Unless you cancel, your plan automatically renews annually at the then-current renewal price with your same payment terms.
