- If your home is a recreational vehicle or otherwise intended to be moved; your property is used for commercial purposes; you know of any current problems with your interior electrical system before enrollment; or your interior electrical system is shared with a 3rd party or covered by a homeowners' association or the like
Exclusions
- Appliances, service entrance conductors, knob and tube wiring, aluminum, or non-standard/non-permanent materials, damage or failure due to disconnection or interruption to the main electrical supply, repair of wiring connected to or any part of the following: doorbells, smoke detectors, garage door systems, and thermostats and similar type systems, and damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, others, wildlife or unusual circumstances. Costs on covered repairs may exceed the benefit limit, in which case you pay the difference between the cost and the benefit limit. Additional exclusions apply.
Benefit Details: Coverage provides, up to the applicable benefit limit, to repair or replace the broken, failed or hazardous wiring from and including the breaker panel or fuse box, up to and including switches and outlets, and disconnect boxes and all wiring, breakers and switches contained within them, for which you have sole responsibility, that are damaged due to normal wear and tear, not accident or negligence.
Not covered: Appliances, service entrance conductors, knob and tube wiring, aluminum, or non-standard/non-permanent materials, damage or failure due to disconnection or interruption to the main electrical supply, repair of wiring connected to or any part of the following: doorbells, smoke detectors, garage door systems, and thermostats and similar type systems, and damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, others, wildlife or unusual circumstances. Costs on covered repairs may exceed the benefit limit, in which case you pay the difference between the cost and the benefit limit. Additional exclusions apply. Disputes resolved by arbitration, without class action or jury trial, unless otherwise stated in your full Terms and Conditions.
Making a Service Call: Your plan starts the day your enrollment is processed. There is an initial 30-day waiting period before you can make a service call, giving you 11 months of coverage during the first year. Upon renewal/reactivation (if applicable), there is no waiting period.
Cancellation: Cancel any time by calling HomeServe. If you cancel within 30 days of your start date, you will get a full refund (less claims paid, where applicable). Cancellations after the first 30 days will result in a refund of 90% of the unearned pro rata price (less claims paid, where applicable).
Renewal: The plan is annual. Unless you cancel, your plan automatically renews annually at the then-current renewal price and is billed monthly through your utility bill, described as Int Elect Line Plan.

Disclosure/Rebate Schedule: HomeServe USA Repair Management (Florida) Corp. (HSRMF) will offer the purchasers of the following home service contracts (sold in connection with HSRMF's relationship with FPL Energy Services) an instant rebate for these home warranty products provided by ServicePlan of Florida, Inc. Cooling System Plans: For the cooling system plan which covers heat pumps, HRMF will be rebating a portion of its sales commission in the amount of $14.99 per month for one year, or 50% of the cost of the plan. For the cooling system plan which covers heat pimps and provides an annual tune up, HSRMF will be rebating a portion of its sales commission in the amount of $18.99 per month for one year or 50% of the cost of the plan.
Other Plans: HSRMF will be rebating a portion of its sales commission in the amount of $.50 per month for one year for: Water Service Line Coverage, Sewer Septic Line Coverage, Internal Plumbing and Drainage Coverage, Water Heater Coverage.
