    This plan provides up to $3,000 in annual coverage with multiple service calls for covered repairs for your exterior electrical line and, up to $8,000 of annual covered repair costs for your gas line. This plan also provides additional restoration, up to $500 per call for restoration to interior surfaces of your home disturbed as part of a covered gas line repair and $1,000 per call for restoration to your pavement, yard, and exterior landscaping as part of a covered gas line repair.

  • Meter moves or replacements except when required by local code; appliances, fixtures, systems not supplied by a utility or propane provider, restoration of interior surfaces to their original state, replacement of any artificial grass or plants, restoration to water structures, pastures or wooded areas; and damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, wildlife, others or unusual circumstances. Costs on covered repairs may exceed the benefit limit, in which case you pay the difference between the cost and the benefit limit. Additional exclusions apply. Disputes resolved by arbitration, without class action or jury trial, unless otherwise stated in your full Terms and Conditions.
  • Damage or failure due to disconnection or interruption to the main electrical supply, transformers, generators, non-utility supplied power and/or lines, appliances, meter pedestals, lines to any other structure other than your home, and damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, wildlife, others or unusual circumstances. The meter that measures the amount of electricity used is not covered by this plan, but it is covered by CenterPoint Energy. Benefit Details: Coverage provides, up to the applicable benefit limit, to repair or replace a gas line that has experienced an operational failure, for which you have sole responsibility, from your utility’s responsibility up to and including the connectors to each natural gas/propane appliance on your property, whether inside or outside your residence, up to and including the appliance connectors on the extension gas lines that exit your home, that is damaged due to normal wear and tear, not accident or negligence. Pressure regulating devices are also included in this coverage. Restoration to your pavement, yard, landscaping, and interior surfaces disturbed as part of a covered repair is included, up to the benefit limit.
