Exterior Electrical System: The broken, failed or hazardous permanent overhead or underground wiring, and the weatherhead, insulator, riser, meter base, and service entrance conductor located between your utility's responsibility and the exterior wall of your home. Frayed wiring that is still functional is also covered.
Not Covered: Damage or failure due to disconnection or interruption to the main electrical supply, repair of wiring connected to or any part of the following: doorbells, smoke detectors, garage door systems, and thermostats and similar type systems, damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, others, wildlife or unusual circumstances and the following system-specific exclusions: Interior Electrical System: Appliances, service entrance conductors, knob and tube wiring, aluminum, or non-standard/non-permanent materials.
