Ductless Heat Pump (3 Air Handlers)

Eligibility: An owner of a single structure, or a unit within a structure, that is not intended to be moved and is used and zoned only for residential occupancy may be eligible for coverage. Only the following ductless heat pump systems are eligible: Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Daikin, Carrier, Trane or LG. If you do not buy a plan for every system you own, you must designate at enrollment the system your plan covers, or the plan will cover the first system for which you make a service call. You are not eligible if your property is used for commercial purposes; you know of any current problems with your system before enrollment; your system is shared with a 3rd party or covered by a homeowners’ association or the like; is not installed according to manufacturer specifications; has more than 1 condenser or 3 air handlers; uses refrigerant other than R-22 or similar, R-410a; has non-compliant components; exceeds 5 tons capacity; or is an ammonia cooling, window, through the wall, hanging, geothermal heat pump, or combination ambient heat/domestic hot water heating unit.
Benefit Details: Coverage provides, up to the applicable benefit limit, to repair or replace the following broken or failed system parts for which you have sole responsibility, that are damaged due to normal wear and tear, not accident or negligence: blower motors, blower wheels, circuit boards, condensate pumps, condenser fan blades, condenser fan motors, defrost control boards, defrost sensors, electronic expansion valve power heads, fuses, removable valve cores, service port valve caps, transformers, or thermistors, including clearing accessible condensate lines. Coverage includes one annual tune-up. Coverage provides for repairs or replacement of parts only. Your system will not be replaced.
Not covered: air filters, compressors, condenser or evaporator coils, electric disconnects, remote control devices, metering systems that include TXV or 4-way valves, king/reversing valves, refrigerant leaks or maintenance recharges, more than 1 condenser or 3 air handlers, and damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, others or unusual circumstances. Additional exclusions apply. Disputes resolved by arbitration, without class action or jury trial, unless otherwise stated in your full Terms and Conditions.
Making a Service Call: Your plan starts the day your enrollment is processed. There is an initial 30-day waiting period before you can make a repair service call, giving you 11 months of coverage during the first year. Upon renewal/reactivation (if applicable), there is no waiting period.
Cancellation: Cancel any time by calling HomeServe at 1-833-500-2631. If you cancel within 30 days of your start date, you will get a full refund (less claims paid or tune-up provided, where applicable). Cancellations after the first 30 days will result in a pro-rata refund (less claims paid or tune-up provided, where applicable).
Renewal: The plan is annual. Unless you cancel, your plan automatically renews annually at the then-current renewal price with your same payment terms.
